Latest rumors are simply indicating that the Cupertino giant
Apple’s next iPhone possibly the iPhone 8 could have curved screen and it is
not the first time that the OLED panel for iPhone 8 is rumored, as it is known
informally that Apple will launch in 2017.
Apple To Launch iPhone 8 With Curved OLED Screen
Next year will likely be
a big one for the Apple iPhone, hold on, many of you might be thinking “Why”
right. As it is the 10th anniversary of the smartphone introducing the
touchscreen era, so the tech giant Apple should have exciting surprises in
store.
Hence, the next iPhone
possibly the iPhone 8 will definitely have a completely new design and it is
something that has become quite clear in recent months. However, we now have
more details regarding the next iPhone, so thanks to the report of The Wall Street
Journal published today.
The Wall Street Journal
says that the tech giant Apple is currently working with the 10 different
models of the next iPhone possibly the iPhone 8. So, now it’s no wonder,
whenever a new device is tested, different prototypes are performed to test
both form factors and the hardware itself. As it is obvious from these
prototypes are some with OLED screen as well.
So, the latest rumors
are simply indicating that the tech giant Apple’s next iPhone possibly the
iPhone 8 could have curved screen. This rumor has long sounding but had never
done so hard as it is doing now. But many users who have been surveyed, say
they do not want it because it is “something of Samsung”. If the tech giant
Apple finally has taken seriously statements of this kind, then very soon we
could have a curved iPhone.
It seems that Asian
suppliers have been asked to increase production of OLED displays. But not only
that the display should be thinner than today and should come with better
resolution than that is offered by Samsung in its high-end smartphones.
It is not the first time
that the OLED panel for iPhone 8 is rumored, as it is known informally that
Apple will launch in 2017. The reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities
said that the tech giant Apple will release an iPhone with OLED screen and two
other models, while Barclays analysts suggest the same pace with an increase in
screen sizes.
However, it is not yet
known if the OLED panel will be exclusive to the premium models of all or will
all the new generation iPhone. But for now, it is clear that the device will
become more expensive. Apparently, an OLED panel is about $50 more expensive
than its LCD counterpart, so you should not be surprised to see an expensive
price tag.
