Asus has confirmed the arrival of Zenfone Max Pro M2 that
will be launching in India on December 11. This was confirmed by the video on
Facebook page of ASUS and hence we are ready for another tough competition to
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 and a successor to Zenfone Max Pro M1. It will be launched
exclusively on Flipkart and will feature a notch and corning Gorilla Glass 6
protection.
The posts, shared on the Asus India Facebook page reads “The
unrivalled champion of mid-range is ready to begin its dominance with the most
durable screen in the segment – Corning Gorilla Glass6.”
Asus claims that phone will survive 158 vertical drops from
a height of 1 meter. The phone is claimed to a mid-ranger which raises the
speculations that Zenfone Max Pro M2 could be launched around the same price as
Zenfone Max Pro M1. The starting price of Zenfone Max Pro M1 which was launched
earlier this year was Rs 10,999 for the base variant and was also a Flipkart
exclusive.

Zenfone Max M2 could feature 6 inch displays
with 4GB/6GB variants with an exclusive 8GB variant For Zenfone Max Pro
M2
According to the most recent hole from WinFuture.de, the
Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Zenfone Max M2 could highlight 6-inch shows, and are
relied upon to have 4GB/6GB RAM variations, with 8GB RAM alternative likely for
Zenfone Max Pro M2. It is also expected that the Zenfone Max M2 would run
Snapdragon 636 processor whereas Zenfone Max Pro M2 could be powered with
Snapdragon 660 Chipset.
According to the leaks both the phones Zenfone Max Pro M2
and Zenfone Max M2 would be have 5000mAh and 4000mAh batteries respectively.
Both the phones are expected to come with dual rear camera setups and Zenfone
Max Pro M2 is expected to have 12MP+5MP cameras stacked vertically.
