Last month Xiaomi launched Redmi Note 6 Pro as the successor
to Redmi Note 5 Pro which was well received by the audience and loved it. But
this was not the case with Redmi note 6 Pro as there were not as much changes which
could tempt the users to switch other than a visible big ugly notch and a
minute change in camera. If there had been any upgrades one might think of
upgrading but only for notch and a minute change in camera it is difficult to
do so.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro had the same Snapdragon 636 chipset which
was found in its predecessor. But in new listing on Flipkart which was by
mistake we have come to know that that it might get a more powerful variant with
Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 SoC. And it was expected before that Redmi Note 6 Pro
might get chipset update and it seems to be true.
By switching to Snapdragon 660 SoC Xiaomi will not only
increase the chances of spike in its sale but it would also give an better
competition to Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 and Realme 2 Pro which have been
received warmly by the audience.
.@Flipkart just made a small error (thanks to who informed me about it) I guess which needs to be fixed fast. But yeah, we all wanted SD660 on Redmi Note6 Pro right?! But then why would anyone buy the Mi A2! @XiaomiIndia @RedmiIndia— Ishan Agarwal (@IshanAgarwal24) December 27, 2018

The smartphone was listed by Flipkart by mistake during its
Mobiles Bonanza Sale. It was first spotted by leakster Ishan Aggarwal and then Flipkart
immediately corrected it. It can be seen that the smartphone is priced at Rs
13,999 and will also come with a 5000mAh battery.
