Samsung Galaxy A8s with O- Display to be launched before Huawei's Nova 4 on 10 December


According to the poster published on the micro blogging website Weibo Samsung announced that the Galaxy A8s smartphone will be launching on December 10 which is before Huawei’s Nova 4 launch which is also has a hole in the top left of the display. The poster resembles to what Huawei posted a day before. In the poster clear outline of the phone is visible with Infinity-O type display i.e. there is a camera hole on the top left. This smartphone is seen following the true bezel less display with no notch.



You might have remembered that in November this year Samsung unveiled four new displays at Samsung Developers Congress (SDC). Three of them being Infinity-U, Infinity-V and Infinity-O i.e. a notch-like cutouts while other was said to be notch less new infinity display.

Samsung Galaxy A8s is expected to launch with a 6.3 inch FullHD + display with a resolution of 1080x2340 pixels. It will be running on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 710 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage and an expandable internal storage via micro SD up to 512GB

As far as camera is concerned it is rocking three rear cameras 24 megapixel primary sensor along with a 10 megapixel and 5 megapixel sensors. The front camera through a hole is a powerful 24 megapixel selfie camera.

Furthermore the handset is expected to come with a battery of 3400mAh and have a USB type C port. And the speculations are that it will be missing a 3.5mm headphone jack.
